The Club operates and maintains a number of voice and data repeaters around South East Queensland.

The official Club call sign is VK4WIG.

Nets

There is a morning net on – 146.700Mhz at 08:00 each day. (Springbrook) – back on line 12 March 2023

Internet Radio Linking Project (IRLP)

The repeater VK4RGC on 146.700 MHz is available for global IRLP connections, our IRLP node number is 6702 as well Echolink 66702

Wide Area Network (WAN) Springbrook – 147.225MHz (+600KHz offset) with a 91.5Hz tone. Please Note this repeater is off line for a while (7th Aug 2022)

APRS

GCARS operates an APRS Digipeater which consists of a WX3in1 Mini – APRS Advanced Digipeater/I-Gate connected to a TAIT TM8115. Due to its location at Wongawallan, it provides great coverage across the Gold Coast and is supported by the following fill-in digipeaters:

VK2ARS-5 and VK4UT-1.
